Donations

Want to make a difference?

Our Parish regularly provides assistance to many local charities, social justice and outreach organisations. Some of the organisations we support are listed below but not limited to. Please keep an eye out in the weekly parish bulletin for announcements on what the parish is doing.

Donations to Holy Spirit Parish

Holy Spirit Parish is a large community, covering the Gungahlin region, funded solely by your donations.

Donations are generally sourced from the second collection at Mass and occasionally from one-off donations. These donations fund outstanding loans on the church, office and presbytery buildings, pay parish staff and administrative costs and service programs held within the parish.

Your financial support enables the good works of the parish to continue.

If you would like to make a financial donation follow the Secure Online Payments option on this website or place your donation in a clearly marked envelope and deliver to the parish office or place in one of the weekly collection baskets.

The Society provides support by standing in solidarity with people who are living in poverty and experiencing disadvantage, especially the homeless, refugees and those living on very low incomes. More information.

Food donations – everyone can contribute!

If you would like to donate non-perishable food to our St Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, please drop your items in the basket provided when you come to Mass.  Volunteers from the local St Vincent de Paul Conference use the food you donate to prepare food hampers for local families in need.

World Mission Month

Celebrated every year in every country wherever there are Catholics committed to building a better world for all of God’s people, a world where everyone has all they need to live a dignified and fulfilling life. It is the day on which we reflect on the urgency to proclaim the Gospel in our times.

During October, there will be an opportunity for you to support the work of Catholic Mission through envelopes provided at Mass. To Donate to Catholic Mission
