We are getting ready for our Advent and Christmas!
We need your help to put up lights and decorations in preparation for the first week of Advent. If could spare any time at all, please come along and help. Saturday 2 December 2023 from 9:00am onwards.
We will be providing some refreshments so for catering purposes, could you please let us know if you will be coming along.
Community Carols
Leading up to Christmas an opportunity exists for people to join a community carols group. All age groups are invited to express an interest to join a Holy Spirit Christmas Carols Choir this season.

Good Shepherd Hall Refurbishment
This week we received confirmation that the Good Shepherd school hall will be undergoing major refurbishment starting Monday 20 November. We have been advised that this work is expected to take around 6 months to complete. Parish Masses and events will be impacted including access to the church when parking at the school carpark.
The initial changes include:
- Weekend Masses— we will set up chairs in the foyer meeting room and outside as required.
- Weekday Masses—will be moved to the parish office due to construction noises.
- Car Park and access— those who park at Good Shepherd school carpark will need to access the top gate of the school by following the red line below.
- Christmas Masses—these will be held at St John Paul II College, Gungahlin Drive, Nicholls.
Please be patient with us as we navigate the upcoming disruption to church access and services. We will tweak the arrangements as we receive more information and will keep you updated on any changes. Please contact the parish office if you have any questions or concerns.
