National Volunteer Week 15 – 21 May 2023

The theme for this year’s National Volunteer Week is The Change Makers. Many people from the parish volunteer in the community which enriches those who volunteer and those who receive their friendship and assistance.

The Parish is also crying out for keen volunteers and there are several ways you can share your gifts and skills. For example – The Care Group prepares meals for families or single people who might need help with meals at a time of crisis; the Saint Vincent de Paul who visit people and help with food and other assistance to people in our community who need a hand; offering your help with the Children’s Liturgy; the Youth Group; Ministries at Mass such as Welcomer, Reader; Special Minister of the Eucharist, Mass Coordinator; the Community Garden; the Social Justice Group, Church cleaning, joining the Choir, preparation of Liturgies and much more.

We encourage you to be one of The Change Makers in our parish and community. For more information about volunteering in the Parish please contact the parish office or sign up here: https://forms.gle/fu3ZdKEVTzUeYE4LA
