Laudato Si’ Week – Launching the Holy Spirit Parish Laudato Si’Action Plan
This weekend (20/21 May) marks the start of Laudato Si’ week, when Catholics across the world will be celebrating the eighth anniversary of Pope Francis’ letter to all the people of the world on Care for our Common Home.
To coincide with the start of Laudato Si’ week we are launching the Holy Spirit Parish Laudato Si’ Action Plan this weekend.
The Parish Plan is part of a much broader, international Laudato Si’ Action Platform initiated by the Vatican.
Our Plan focuses on what we can do at a local level to protect the environment and lead more sustainable lives.
At all this weekend’s Masses members of the Holy Spirit Social Justice Group will be handing out pamphlets that provide the highlights of the Parish Plan. We hope that you take the time to read them and consider whether there is a part for you to play in helping us to achieve the aims set out in the Plan.
