  • Waste Management
  • Wicking Beds
  • Irrigations Systems

If you answered yes to any of the above, then join our Community Garden Group!

Holy Spirit Parish is applying for an ACT Community Garden Grant to re-establish the

currently disused garden area that backs onto the oval behind the church. To do this we need your expertise and skill, especially if you currently have your own vegetable garden. We are also looking to grow some of the edible plants that are not so common – to showcase the cuisine of our multicultural community.

Community gardens make our city better. They’re a place for people to meet, be active, and keep your mind and body healthy. Gardens also help our environment. They support plants and animals and cool the planet.

If you are willing to share your knowledge, your time or your energy please contact Theivani by email: or call the parish office on 6242 9622.

We need a good community of interest before we can apply for the grant.

We look forward to hearing from you!
