Holy Spirit Parish, Gungahlin is hosting the
Caring for Creation Conference
Ticket sales are now open for the Caring for Creation Conference
Date: Saturday, 17 September
from 10am – 5pm.
Venue: St John Paul College, Nicholls in the college theatre
The Conference has the support of Archbishop Christopher Prowse and the Conference organisers are thrilled to have Jacqui Remond as the keynote speaker. Jacqui is a member of the Vatican Ecology Taskforce and Co-founder of the Global Laudato Si’ Movement.
The Conference is open to all who want to make a genuine difference – parishioners from Holy Spirit parish and all Parishes across the Archdiocese, representatives from Parish Councils, Principals and Teachers from our Catholic schools who are keen to learn about a Laudato Si’ Action Plan, Priests and people from other Churches.
You will meet new people, hear new ideas, learn more about Pope Francis’s Laudato Si’ document and ‘just what a Laudato Si’ Action Plan is’; ideas about how to develop your Church, Parish or School Laudato Si’ Action Plan and a whole lot more.
We look forward to meeting and welcoming you on Saturday, 17 September 2022 from
9.30am for a 10am start.
