A hearty ‘Thank you’ to everyone who helped in so many ways over Holy Week and the Easter ceremonies.
It all started with the people who turned up to help with the grounds tidy up at the end of last month.
Then as we moved closer to Holy Week and the preparation for Holy Thursday and Good Friday followed by the beautiful Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses.
To the Welcomers, PowerPoint operators, Mass Coordinators, to the many people who helped put out chairs and tidy the Church on Easter Monday, to those who helped decorate the Church, prepare the Altar of Repose, put up banners, folded newsletters, decorated the Easter Candle stand with flowers and those who prepared flowers for the Church, for the decoration of the window that is always in tune with the Seasons of the Church, to the Readers, the Ministers of Communion, the Altar
servers, the car park attendants, the collectors and the counters.
To the RCIA candidates and catechumens and to those who decorated their candles. And to all those who accepted a job when asked or who offered help at short notice. To the parents who brought their children along to help – thank you to them and to the children and young people for their energy. And thank you to everyone who joined in and shared our Holy Week and Easter ceremonies.
Heartfelt thanks from Fr Mark and the Parish Team
