The Holy Spirit Parish Youth Council (HSPYC) would like to share the following news and upcoming events:
HSPYC hosted a BBQ on Sunday 4 September to celebrate Father’s Day and raise funds for youth ministry in the parish. The event raised $204.55, which will go towards food and equipment for the youth group, and towards the Youth & Altar Server Christmas Party (see below). HSPYC would like to thank all the youth and their families who assisted with the BBQ, and those parishioners who jumped in on the day to assist with cooking and serving, especially Pradeep who was happy to pass on skills to the next generation.
New Altar Server training will be held on Sunday 23 October following 9:30am Mass. All children from Year 3 and up who have received their First Eucharist are invited to join the Altar Server roster. Youth & Altar Server Christmas Party will be held in the afternoon on Sunday 11 December. All youth, altar servers, and their families are invited to celebrate your contributions to our parish throughout 2022. Please RSVP to Paris Morris with numbers and any dietary requirements.
Please keep an eye on the bulletin for Youth Group and Youth Mass dates for term 4, and remember that Youth Group now runs 5-7pm – we’re looking forward to some outside games and activities as the weather gets warmer!
